My name is Kate, and I’m an American teacher living in Spain, where I run my own English academy. I specialize in creating fun, practical resources for ESL learners and elementary-aged students.

Why I Started This Blog

As a teacher working in a bilingual environment, I know how important it is to have engaging, easy-to-use materials — especially when you're supporting English language learners. I created this blog to share my favorite teaching ideas, printable resources, and classroom tips that work in real ESL settings, both in schools and private academies.

These long and short flip strips are one of my favorite resources! They have real pictures and when you flod the strip over the magic e appears and the word become a long vowel sound. This really works the brain and consolidates learning also as a teacher you can hear the learning happening.
